What a nightmare for weather forecast these last couple of days but we did it.

Now, let’s go to the America’s Cup Final against ORACLE – TEAM USA. GO ETNZ GO.

EXWEXs provides a very accurate weather forecast system at very local scale in order to make the best forecast system.-

EXWEXs is official meteorological supplier for ETNZ to deliver very high time and space resolution weather forecasts during the competition for both Louis Vuitton and America’s Cups 2017.

EXWEXs is developping a local in-situ system for local and regional very high accuracy Mars weather forecast in order to prevent powerful rapid storm curretnly not predictable by Orbiters data.

• EXWEXs sell and rent vertical wind profiler on dedicated trailer. If necessary, the system delivers power and uses GPRS to communicate data. After arrival on site, the first measurement are delivered after only 1 hours and half a day if solar pannel and wind turbine are necessary.
• EXWEXs can deploy atmospheric vertical profiler (SODAR, LIDAR) all over the earth, over continents, on coasts, over boats or offshore features.
• EXWEXs developped a fully originl  local in-situ system for local measurement and regional very high accuracy  weather forecast for isolated regions or regions with poor Met cover. The aim is to prevent powerful rapid storm not predictable by standard Met Services due mainly to the lack of local or regional data. The numerical weather forecast is performed every hours for 24h to 48h with a very high resolution 250 km around the measurment location.

EXWEXs is able to deliver, manipulate and use IPCC physical climate scenarios relative to Climate change. Moreover, EXWEXs provides some regional (even by Country or subregion) and local physcially based downscalling for past and future scenarios. All downscallings are assessed with past measurement before used for downscaled climatic predictions.

Some detailed maps of vulnerability based on integration of meteorological, hydrological, demographic, hydrodynamic can be performed with high details (sites based with locally-downscaled climatic predictions and long-term records)

EXWEXs can thus provide all information related to Climate change at local, regional and larger scale for surveillance studies, demonstration of risk, and management tools.

EXWEXs leads some oceanographic studies and provides some analysis for short, medium and long term periods. In particuler, some very high resolution climate studies can be performed everywhere from surface to bottom for extreme currents and temperature or surface elevation.

Some dedicated region can also be zoomed, for instance: Gibraltar Mediterannea, Arctic, Indonesia…

EXWEXs performs some scientific expertises related to all meteorological and oceanographic scientific, measurement or modelling activities over these areas.

Regarding the Polar Lows, EXWEXs performs dedicated research study to better detectn follwo and predict them at short and middle term. Not that Polar lows are intense high-latitude small-scale and shot-life mesocyclones occuring during the cold season over open sea. These characteristics lead to a poor model representation in models and are often missed in the standard meteorological weather forecast.

 

 

The detection, modelling of convection and squall lines is one of the historical EXWEXs’s activity. The expertise and the scientific background in Metocean as well as in convection process pushed EXWEXs to deeply study convection over seas, specificaly over Tropical regions and Guinea Gulf for instance.
